Miko named PSA Player of the Month

Karakal and Finland’s World No.98 Miko Aijanen has been named the PSA Men’s Squash Player of the Month after reaching three PSA Tour finals and claiming two titles in June.

Miko started the month in strong form toppling top seed England’s Lyell Fuller, 11-13, 11-2, 11-4, 11-3 in the final of the Austrian Open and as second seed, tearing through the field at the Prague Open, only to fall at the last hurdle when he lost the final to top seed Kristian Frost of Denmark.

But the Finn was not finished as Miko claimed his second title of the month, defeating Hungary’s Farkas Balazs 3-0 in the final of the White Nights Open in St Petersburg.
