Support Tesni at World Finals!

Wales and Karakal's World No.9 Tesni Evans has been drawn in the same group as the Worlds top player, Raneem el Welily of Egypt, at the CIB PSA World Squash Tour Finals. The men’s event is headed up by World No.1 and last year’s runner-up Ali Farag.

The six-day, season-ending event, beginning at Cairo’s Mall of Arabia on Sunday June 9, will see the top eight men and women on the PSA World Tour Finals Leaderboard do battle for the prestigious title and the lucrative $320,000 prize fund. Players will compete in round-robin group stages with the top two from each group progressing to the knockout semi-finals and final.

Tesni earned her qualification points at PSA World Tour events throughout the 2018/19 season, while the reigning PSA World Champions and all PSA Platinum event winners qualified automatically. Tesni will also have the honour of getting the tournament underway when she competes with Raneem in the first of the group matches on Sunday June 9 at 19:00 local time. Six matches will then be played per night for the first four days, with the semi-finals on Thursday and the finals at 19:30 on Friday June 14.

Karakal fans can stay up-to-date with Tesni's progress by visiting the official tournament website, whilst tickets can be purchased at Ticketsmarche.com. Every match from the tournament will be shown live on SQUASHTV, Eurosport Player, ON Sport in Egypt and the official Facebook page of the PSA World Tour.
