Congratulations to Karakal’s Michael Mattimore, who captured the 2024 Northumbria County Squash title last weekend, with a 3/0 (11/9, 11/6, 11/7) victory over 2-time champion Liam Gutcher.
This was Michaels third title in a row at the event, which was staged at the Tynemouth Squash Racket Club in North Shields, and saw him having to overcome a strong field, including his semi final opponent and 13-times champion Dave Barnett.
